Avant de réaliser les insignes en métal, des maquettes de bois avaient été réalisées avant. Notez que les insignes avaient failli être jetés à la poubelle avant d'être sauvés in extremis...
Wooden Insignia 1rst Anti-Aircraft Regiment. This is the wooden pattern that the iron insignia on the gates of Langannerie polish cemetery in Normandy was copied from. These badges were to be discarded following the final approval. Fortunately saved !
